Hello everyone I just purchased 2 horned lizards from the reptile show and need a little advice.
I've heardthey are fragile in captivity and I need to know why and any very important things I need to keep in mind with them.
Thank you

They are not as fragile as some people put it depending on the species of course. I know the common ones that are sold the solare are the most prolific. All they need is some sand they can burrow into, and lots of ants, and heat from above.

The species you most likely acquired as Phrynosoma Platyrhinos which was most likely wild caught from Nevada.
WC Horned Lizards generally don't do to well in captivity unless their in the hands of a knowledgeable HL keeper.
check out phrynosoma.org they have lots of info on the captive keeping of horned lizards.
