I am looking to add an Iguana or two to my collection of other lizards/dragons. I can weed out the "Bad Guys" via the BOI, but it is not easy to find the "Good Guys". Any info, thoughts and advice on someone I can trust??

Thank you in advance,
Dave

I have purchased an albino iguana from tom crutchfield who is very knowledgable and has been incredibly helpful. he actually sent me an extra one to be sure the babies would be doing good as he felt because they were young it would be better for them. i can keep it or send it back when it gets older.

I have also bought from ben siegel as well as bay area reptiles and both were excellent in their animals, their communication and their continued help.

Hope this helps

Quite honestly, if you are looking at a regular ole Iguana Iguana, I would suggest checking with rescues. They have every size available. A good rescue will have a vet check done and supply a reasonably healthy animal with known temperment/issues. If you are looking more along the lines of albinos, so far those have not yet hit rescues, but greens and red iguana are prolific in rescue.
