Hi there,
I recently attained a pair of frilled dragons. I have them housed currently in a screen cage. They are extremely active and I am considering changing them to a glass enclosure with a screen lid instead b/c I am worried about their toes getting injured on the screen sides of the cage. Has anyone had problems with the screen enclosures and injuries? I also was wanting to use a MVB bulb but can't in the screen enclosure b/c they like to crawl across the inside top of the screen as well. Right now they have a strip fluorescent and a reflector dome lamp on top of the screen enclosure. Any advice and cage set up pics would be appreciated. You can send pics to my email at thedragonhut@gmail.com or post here if you prefer. I'd love to be able to chat with some other frillie owners

i use osb and plexi,i created a topper ontop of my 40 gallon tank and used the screen from the tank as the front and a strip of plexi at the top. i have mvb at top corner. 2 baskingg lamps and an added uvb light at top just for added light. no burn issues what so ever.
the other is an osb construction simply with brackets and osb with screen on the back and plexi on the front. mvb hanging and a basking lamp off to the other side.
humidity is key with these guys cuz there skin is really thin and fragile, idk how old your guys are but misting daily would be great. most my frills dont actualy drink from there water but drink when misted instead.
my humidity durring the day is typicaly 45 before i mist and 80 dropping to 60 the rest of the evening after i spray.
