GTP x Ball python

sanchezk Jul 02, 2009 11:53 PM

Hi guys-
I'm a ball python breeder, but one of my friends has a male GTP. He and I were discussing the possibility of breeding his GTP to one, maybe two of my ball pythons to see what the outcome would be, any comments/inputs?

The male is almost 3 years old and has good size on him, while the two females I would be putting forth for the project are both proven breeders and healthy in every way. I'm not asking for input on a breeding loan etc. as I'm not worried about that. but what I'm interested in is whether or not it's truly feasible I mean you can do GTP to IJ, and IJ to ball, and Ball to woma, ball to burm and ball to blood, so isn't it possible to do ball to GTP?

Thanks
Kent

Go for it. I would love to see a green ball python. Put me in line for one if it works. I am attempting a burm / borneo this year. Tried a borneo to a pastel ball last year. No luck. The pastel ball bred her like crazy but she didn't take. Gonna try a burm male this year and see if he takes. I will have the pastel male standing by just in case he doesn't do the job. Anything is worth a shot. Hybrids are awesome!
