Ok I am in the market for a new animal for my 245b gall enclosure. Obviously my dream creature (dwarf croc) I cant get due to financial and permiting reasons. Im leaning toward either dwarf caiman species. I used to own a trig. I am thinking a palpe. would be more interesting but Id love input and preferences. Thanks for any advice

I have a palp and love him. Never had a trig, but did have a spec. i prefer the palp much more than the spec.
But in the end, they're all different. My palp doesn't lunge at me though, and he learned to respond to the clicker real quick.

I have a P. palpebrosus. I adore him very much. He is not like most I have heard about. I can get him out and handle, he will sit on the couch and watch tv with me. I have him on a routine so he knows when it is cleaning/playing time and when it is feeding time. He is roughly 20" and over two years. They are truly fun critters but do your research they aren't for everyone and you want to make sure you are ready. If you have any questions please feel free to ask I will help if I can.
