my buddie has a pond in his back yard. in upstate new york and he has a water snake family living there and he just put down some grass seed and wants to know if the seed can cause and toxic for the snakes.. the bag saya pet safe but i dont know if that means snakes also.

its scotts turf builder grass seed sun and shade mix if that helps..

planting grass seed will not harm the snakes.

Also...they are not dumb by any means. If they believe somthing is going to cause them harm they will move on just like any reptile.
