Found this gecko in my truck. I think it might be indo pacific, but the color is really throwing me. I live near tampa florida.
Whatever it is, would it be worth keeping?(not to specialized)

Judging by the pattern, I would say mourning gecko (Lepidactylus lugubris). If I am right, it is a great one to keep, since they are parthenogenic, meaning they can reproduce by themselves, essentially cloning themselves, making entire populations female. So, you could start with one, and end up with many, and have even more that you can sell. Don't you just love geckos?!
You have hemidactylus mabouia,also known as the african house gecko or ameriafrican gecko.I have a couple of them and they seem to have more personality than other types of house geckos.
