Mali Hatchlings

Bits9532 Jul 11, 2009 11:09 PM

Good news here in Uroland...
My clutch of Mali's from Bob and Cleo began hatching on July 7, 2009. Within a 24 hour period, 15 of the 16 eggs had either fully hatched, or were in the process of hatching. I was waiting for #16 to hatch, to post these pictures, but finally gave up and took the photo today of the 15 that had hatched. Low and behold- #16, the caboose, is in the process of hatching tonight. LOL. All the babies seem strong and healthy, and are already eating vigorously. They weighed between 7.1 and 8.7 Grams with an STL of 3.5 inches. When they first hatched, several looked hypomelanistic, but soon "colored up" once basking under the Westron.

Enjoy,
Elizabeth
