The post below got me thinking about this. It's a given with greens as the vast majority of females will ingest any unfertilized ova virtually every time. However, I have not heard much about this with yellow anacondas. I am curious as to what has been the experience of the yellow breeders out there regarding this behavior? Thanks,

Kelly I have never observed consumption of ova.

My yellow that gave birth recently passed one complete ova and a couple pieces of an ova. Within ten minutes or so of finishing giving birth she ate the one full slug and one of the pieces.
I have just not seen much written on this with yellows and thought I could get a little more data on the subject. Thanks again,
