I've been looking for days on ways to ship a 48"X30"X18" Neodesha. I finally saw that Fed-ex can do this. I'm wondering if I ship the cage do I need to put it into a box? Also, I'm worried about the glass. Can someone suggest ideas on how to safely ship the glass with the cage?
finally, if anyone has other shipping ideas please let me know.

We ship our cages thru Fed Ex and it seems to work out fine. Take the glass and wrap each piece in poly foam which you can pick up at any shipping store. Then tape them together and tape them securely to the inside of your cage. If you want to be safe, wrap the outside of the cage in 1/2" styrofoam and then get a box that fits tightly around it. It can be hard to find a box that large so we make our own out of sheets of cardboard.
