Well then you just must put water up there as well. LOL Are you feeding up top so she doesnt ingest the substrate? That would be my only cage suggestion.

i either feed her on top basking shelf or on the lowest lvl square shelf. i have never had her ingest substrate when feeding even when i was using cypress mulch on every level in her old cage. she has a large sturdy feeding bowl i use with her and it never tips over or ever have problems with her being sloppy and knocking food out of the bowl.

That's pretty cool! Did you build it or buy it?

TimS Aug 17, 2009 01:05 PM

both lol i bought it but it needed to be redone. there was paint scrathed off in most places and i didnt like how the wiring was done so i ripped it out and just stuck a dome clip lamp up top.
ripped off old carpet from shelfs since it was regular house carpet stapled to wood and i did not like that for cleaning reasons. one of the doors stuck real bad and was hard to open/close so i took of the door and rehung it and took off about 1/16 of a inch of bottom so it does not get caught up any more.

so all in all i bought it but also put alot of work into it.
