Pacman may be dying

freakytah Aug 25, 2009 09:28 PM

I've had a pacman frog for about 8 years now and he's never had any problems through that entire time. He usually doesn't eat a ton..some worms, crickets, and the occasional mouse for a treat. After he has his full he usually buries himself for a few days, a week, sometimes longer until he's hungry again. Two days ago he came up to the top again and for the first time in his life he wouldn't eat. Today it doesn't even seem as though he can move his legs. I rarely ever touch him and he didn't react at all when i picked him up. He stayed pretty limp in my hands and wouldn't try and right himself if he was put on his back. I usually don't put too much stock into average lifespans, since it can vary so much but does anyone know of anything I can do or is he too old and possibly dying from natural causes? Here's an old picture in better days

Well unfortunately, as I expected he died sometime today. At least he came back up one last time to say bye!

Sorry to hear that. It is always hard losing a pet.
