if your talking about just hiding it you can cover it with anything... and i am assuming you are talking about like a fish tank submersible heater. If you want to protect it from gator slide it into something like a piece of pvc ( drill holes in pvc pipe to let more water flow in and out). also for my caiman pond i use marineland heaters they are made out of heavy plastic so when he slams into them they dont break....
