Baby Mandarin Sanzinia Pic

boidsonly Sep 01, 2009 09:27 AM

The female had a litter of slugs, 1 dwarf (died 5 days after birth) and one normal baby on 19Aug09. The sole survivor shed on 30Aug09 and fed on a live fuzzy mouse on 31Aug09. Lots of yellow on this baby-should make a beautiful example of the Mandarin phase as an adult.
Oh well, there is always a next time as I have 3 other females to try this fall/winter.

Best regards,
Jeff Murray

Jeff,

Sorry to hear of all the slugs and the dead baby, but at least you got one, and it's super nice! Great colors.

Thanks,
Ed

Sorry to hear about the bad break on that litter. I have two green phase that I would like to try and breed this season. Do you have any hints or information that you could share. I will gladly swap one of the babies for some information as I can find nothing on line or in print in regards to the matter. Cold is about the only thing I keep hearing.

I've got a caresheet online that has been pretty effective. www.DougTaylorReptiles.com. Then again, I haven't produced any Greens. Hopefully I can give a good caresheet for Greens in a year or two.
