Good display snakes?

Danne Sep 02, 2009 11:56 AM

Are any species of Candoia good display snakes? They certainly are very pretty but do they tend to hide or sit out more?

I have Candoia bibroni bibroni (Fiji Boa)and I'd have to say no: they are nocturnal by nature and tend to spend all day in hides. Not sure if this applies to the whole group though, and they have a great nature: very easy to handle.
