Can someone tell me how you get a nuclear sand boa? Is it just another name like Dodoma or Flame or is it a Morph? I occassionally run across pictures of them and was wondering what I'd have to breed to get one.

Nuclears are a line bred morph produced by Roy Stockwell. He selectively bred for more orange over a decade (I think, maybe he will chime in). Unfortunately, he lives in Canada and importing animals is a pain in the butt, so there are not many in the states. Though a few people (almost literally I think) have them, I think all the ones in the states descend from some animals brought in by Savings Grace Reptiles. Note that no matter what anyone tells you Nuclear is not a co-dom trait. Its line bred so there is no het. for Nuc.

Dodoma and flame are the same thing, Dodoma flames. The Dodoma part refers to where they were caught from and the flame part was added by the Bakers to note there clean and bright colors. These are kinda of like a naturally occurring line bred morph so, like the Nucs, there are no het for Dodoma flames.

Hope that helps,
Vinny
