Finally doing great.

Kumar is finally at a point where I'm not worried anymore (I guess it really had only been a few days anyhow). Yesterday he pooped normally and ate a couple crix, and last night I put 6 crickets in his tank and can't find any of them this morning and he was chillin' on top of his hide too. I did buy some carpet too and put it over the sand (use the sand to create barrier between the heat pads and the carpet). I think he is not full grown yet because some of the pics of adult leopard geckos dwarf Kumar. But, I still can't find the info about what age you consider a leopard fully grown. Anyone anyone?

i would agree that he is about 9 months of age he is fine on the sand no need to cover it with carpet all mine are on sand with no ill affects. just make sure it ain't to deep that it doesn't heat up enough he needs it to be 88-90 degrees on the warm side and 80-86 on the cool side. glad he is doing well. gl
