Help regurge?

Chanceb77 Sep 17, 2009 10:22 PM

I have 6 month old Rosie boa. This is my first snake. I was told it's feces would be white. I fed him the day before yesterday about 7 pm one hopper. Tonight I found brownish black and white matter in his hide. It resembles feces to me but I've never seen a regurgitated mouse. This would be the third feeding and nothing like this has happend before. I did handle him for about twenty minutes today. Can someone tell me what is going on?

The white part is the urates (they have this instead of urine to conserve water) and the brown/black part is the actual feces. If the snake regurgitated, you would know it because the mass won't be identifiable as anything else and it will smell really, really bad.
