I received a rather nasty feeding response bite from my female baroni last night. Noted a very moderate tingling and slight swelling within 5 minutes. Within an hour all symptoms were gone but the swelling. This morning, save the lacerations, its as if it didn't happen.

Man, that's pretty mild. How long did she hang on when biting?

Not long but for the duration the back of the jaw was in play. This may be one of many reasons to account for the lack of a reaction but then perhaps the status of these is over rated? Are there any other experiences out there? I've only been able to find a single report of any type of envenomation and it to was relatively mild.

Thanks for sharing Tony-

You're right- there is very little out there about baroni envenomations, so I appreciate any anecdotes I can get.
