SO first i found this big girl under my truck.

Then I was driving home and then in the road in my neighborhood I found this poor guy. He has no front left foot...and his shell has been cracked where the plastron meets the top part of his shell....After a couple of days in iso...he is now eating and has been obsevered mounting the before mention female.

THEN! This little guy was brought to the school where i work.

But that wasnt it the same day I found this little guy in my garage...its not a 3 stripe looks more like a skinkpot. What do you guys think?

God I love living here
Sorry about the crappy pics....not a photographer that is for sure

it looks like like a stinkpot or possibly a florida mud hard to tell from photos. If it has 2 hinges on the plastron then a mud if only 1 hinge near front legs then a musk

Well looking closer at the little guy I would have to go musk.

BTW the first female in the pic laid 2 eggs....Now I am worried that she may become egg bound...I lost a snake to this a year ago and I am worried about her....Is this common or should I be worried....Oh and the male keeps mating with her or at least attempting...Ha

2 eggs is ok for the species to lay 4 is max they are little bodies but may double clucth so if she lays again in 4-6weeks don't be shocked if she doesn't then she will be fine to. If she stops eating (other than it is getting cooler out) then be concerned about possible egg retention otherwise enjoy the turtles.

Hey, thanks for the info. I will definately enjoy them as with all of my herps. I have the eggs in the incubator now. So hopefully I will have some luck with them.
