Would either one of them hurt eachother to put a 1-2 inch red slider in the water section of my water dragon enclosure?

i wouldnt, only because of the bacteria that comes with turtles, you wont want to cross contaminate with parasites and other bacteria.
also you wouldnt want to risk the reptile trying to eat it @_@
