Southern Ringneck having a snack...

This forum is pretty dead, so I thought everyone might enjoy this shot. The first time I tried this, I scared him/her with the camera and he spit it out, but after a few more meals he doesn't seem to care.

haha I love ringnecks! Those little dudes are so awesome. I thought about taking some out of the field one time and bringing them home...don't know why I decided against it. The herpetology prof at the college here has some in a little tank and they're surprisingly neat captives...

they are easy to keep, i don't know why so many people are having problem with them. mine feed on fish. I keep a block of salmon in the freezer and cut them small pieces once to twice a week.

they'll eat off the tongs.

picked up a regal ringneck snake in so. az. any advice on
