Well I finally tried a pinky scented with tadpole today.
Took about a hour to get it down but it did. I think i will scent the head only next time. Had to snip one of its legs off while the mud was swallowing it!

hard to believe they get as big as they do...my folks have a resident mudsnake (down around Houston) on thier property and the thing is majorly impressive
wow, great looking snake.
I've always been interested in having one(based on coloration, look, ect.) just the diet, lack of breeders, ect. always made me think it would be impossible.
