...you seem to be a decent photographer, can you give me any pointers with my Blackberry Pearl 8110 camera phone. Its only 2 MP and the small size makes it difficult to keep still which are definitely limitations.

I didn't mean actually the Blackberry itself but shooting a reasonable picture in General. This is supposed to be a point and shoot device but obviously its limitations mean you need at least some skill in order to get it to turn out well!

Does not take good pictures of anything. To get your best shot, slide off the cover and give the lense a good cleaning. I found most of my shots were fuzzy because the lense has no protective cover on it. A Q-tip and some alcohol will work wonders on the photos. Dip the Q-tip in water, clean the lens, then look at the photos after drinking all the alcohol. (just kidding). Use the Alcohol to clean the lense.

Next, I'd suggest have a dark background and make sure the flash is turned on (not automatic).

Give that a try.
