i want to catch some wild eastern garters and i wanna start breeding some garters.what do they eat in the wild,theres no frogs in the area and no acssesible fish.will a captive bred snake breed with a wild one?

If you truly insist on doing this....

They will eat worms, in fact garters found in meadow lands away from water usually eat worms exclusively.

Yes you can breed WC with CB, not a problem.
