het silver with a nice zipper pattern

boxienuts Oct 08, 2009 11:33 PM

this female is a possible het silver, that will hopefully breed with my male silver in spring of 2011 and prove out, they are still small so there is now way they will breed this spring, she has a neat faded grayed pattern on her head (maybe a marker for het silver?) and I think she has an interesting zipper pattern down her back compared to the other het silvers that I have.

Are all of your het silvers mean? All of mine were.

Tom, a couple were snappy, but I just make a point to get them out at least once a week and handle them for about 15 minutes and they have calmed down nicely after a couple of months, a lot of extra effort, but it's worth it when they become adults, so you don't get bit every time you need to clean their cage.
