Hey Jack... Locusts

I found out recently that reptile keepers in Europe use Locusts(grasshopper) and there are suppliers online in the UK if you Google them, but I don't know if they ship overseas!

Yeah, in Europe they're quite popular. I imagine even if there weren't customs issues it would cost a fortume to get them overseas, though.
I did recently get a big batch of grain-fed CB houseflies from Grubco. After the first day, though, only Lupe and Chica were really going for them, and after maybe the third day it was pretty much all Chica. Chica is a SMART hunter, I'll give her that. She figured out that she wasn't fast enough to actually chase them down in cage that size, but she can watch them completely calmly and then move like lightning during the one split second that they do something stupid anywhere close to her. But unfortunately, while she's being all Zen about it, I do still have to change water, scoop turds, feed the others stuff that THEY want, and that means flies keep on getting out of the cage. Might have been more worth doing when the babies were smaller, but right now it takes a lot of flies to satisfy anybody, and they generally would all rather eat something bigger. Or if not bigger, slower.
