Long time no see

Hayseed Oct 15, 2009 01:37 PM

Well it's been a long time since I've posted here. I've been rediculously busy at work and keeping up with lizards and snakes and my house.

My collareds are doing great. This August was sort of their first year anniversary with me, so I've past their first year and happy that they are still doing well. I plan to brumate them a little more rigorously this year rather than just leave them to hide under their rocks. I think I will do that relatively soon since it's getting cold in Ohio now and they are hiding most of the time anyway. Not sure what I will do with all the extra crickets. I guess I'll move the crickets to a cold spot too to slow down their growth!

It will take me weeks to catch up with all your posts here, but I will enjoy the good reading and inspiring pics.

By the way, JackAsp, did I read on a post here that you're in Ohio? Are we neighbors? I live near Dayton. I believe you and I have corresponded on a different forum (that I won't name here for fear of retribution).

Good to see that all of you are doing well. But I was so sad to see that Kong is no longer with us! I guess I've been away a while. Sorry to see that Eve!

Yup, that was me. We're close enough that I could see winding up the same expo. (Damned if I'll rent a table for just this year's two, though!)

My good friend is going to have a table at the Austin show this weekend, and he took 20 of my babies to put on his table. It was SO hard letting them go, but he will screen potential buyers well, and I sent a pile of care sheets with them.

So that leaves me around 20 more, and three more sets of eggs in the hovabator! =0 LOL!
