In the words of iguana expert Melissa Kaplan, no one knows because no extensive studies have been done on the nutritional needs of green iguanas. The Silver formula has increased levels of Vit E and K which are both fat soluble vitamins that are stored in the body. This is just an opinion, but if the Centrum regular is recommended for igs and is said to be adequate, then I would stay with the regular.

Hi my awnser to your question would be a surprinsing none. Your iguana is a BIG STRONG ADULT MALE, what you need to do is give him regular acess to direct sun ligth, a very varied 100% vegetarian diet with plenty of naturaly calcium rich foods enfatizing dark leafy vegetables and your good to go. Thouse suplements can do good but excess will do harm. A well fed and healty iguana such as yours doesant need thouse, specialy a male, it can stress its kidneys and that would be really bad. Also dont forget to offer plenty of water to drink and high humity to keep thouse kidneys on top shape
