sexing anoles

mrkent Oct 19, 2009 09:25 PM

I recently purchased a group of juvenile wild caught brown anoles (anolis sagrei). Other than seeing the dewlap, is there an easy way to sex them?

Thanks.

Females usually have a stripe down their back that is yellow or white and they also may have a diamond pattern on their back.Males tend to have a larger head than the females, and tend to grow a little larger.
