I know you already answered your own question . . . I use the Exo-Terra Heat Wave desert heat pads without problems. I just sometimes unplug them when we have a good hot California summer. No insulation or circulation in my house and it can get over 100 on a good summer day (and stay that way till 1 am).

Thank you very much for getting back, I will keep it in mind if I do not find the one I got to be efficient
I got the T- Rex Cobra heat pad, will be trying it within the next week or so.
