2 New Clutches of Sand Boas

scaledverts Oct 23, 2009 11:06 AM

Hey -

I just had two clutches of kenyan sand boas born last week. They just finished their first shed and I have begun offering food to them.

The first clutch was 5 normal het anery and 3 anery from an anery X het anery pairing. As you can see the amount of black is highly variable in this clutch. I especially like the anery in the middle with the dorsal stripe.

The second clutch was from a double het paradox snow that I purchased back in May. She was sold to me as possible pregnant, but the seller was not sure what she was bred to. Looking at the grab bag of morphs that I got out of the first clutch, I would guess she was bred by another double het. I got 10 normal pos double het paradox snow, 3 anery pos het paradox snow, 4 paradox albino pos het anery, and 2 paradox snows!!!! Let me tell you the excitement of seeing her prove out was awesome!

Even within the normals you can see a fair amount of color and pattern variation.

Hope you enjoyed the show,

Awesome! That middle anery is a screamer!

Congrats,
