Hi, theres many different snakes that are green in Brazil, but I dont know if there are any racers.
Do you have a photograph or Latin name to go by?

Philodryas comes to mind, there are several species that have green coloration. However, they are more like ratsnakes ,

If you can supply more information I might be able to help,

David

Thanks David,
Philodryas viridissima is the "green racer" that i have been googling. I dont know anything about them except that they look fast and are bright green... kinda cool.

Happy to discuss Philodryas, unfortunately I have no experience with viridissimus.
The greens I work with are baroni and aestivus, and I have had some field experience only with olfersii

Maybe viridissimus could be imported from Surinam/Guyana?

Do you know of anyways I could get my hands on one of these? They do not seem to exist in US collections lol. Could be worth a try?
