Wow, he's gorgeous and HUGE!! Are you positive he's a he? In all honesty, from the body mass and head size, not to mention the length, that looks like a female to me.

Either way, congrats on such a beautiful amazon!

just curious...
Is there any way he could be a hybrid? I am really new to amazons, but i haven't seen one so large. It looks like a chondro cross, just judging by the head and neck. Like i said, i am new to ATBs, but wow! That is the biggest one i've ever seen.

he is not a cross. I got him from a very good friend when he was just a couple weeks old. I also saw both parents.

No such thing as a Chondro x ATB cross. ETB x ATB can but they don't look like that.
