Indigos are not constrictors per say...but I have seen them kill rats by pushing them up against the sides of the cage. Indigos have extremely powerful jaws so they really don't have much of a problem defending themselves. I had a large six foot indigo grab my hand one time, mistaking my hand for food and it was one of the most painful bites I've ever had, excluding venomous bites of course.

Like Dan said they will use pressure to kill prey by pushing it up against something. They are not likely to wrap around something and constrict it.
They also use aggression as a defense mechanism. They are likely to be preyed upon a lot, these are not the apex predators some people seem to think they are.
