Good question. I'm just as curious. I have 3 separate trios to breed this season the same way.

Keeping 2 females in with one male should work fine providing the male is in top breeding form. I've known lots of people who keep them that way and it works for them.

I keep mine in 4ft boaphiles with groups typically consisting of 3-4 females and 2 males.

I have bred 2 females with a single male but I usually keep the females separately and rotate the male between them.

Agreed. I have done many 1.2 breeding groups, and with larger males (140g ) it works fine, just keep an eye on the male, give them breaks to get meals, ect. I tried doing a 1.2 breeding group with a ~110g male this past year, and it didn't end well. Neither female became gravid, and the male went off feed for around 3 months after I took him out.
Probably not worth the added stress to the animals. And it's pretty easy to move a male between cages. I'd stick with that.
