I was looking to purchase 2 captive bred baby Diamond backs from a collector in NJ What are the leagalites of purchasing these and any restrictions on their possession in the state of Fl.
I was originally told that I could maintain 2 for my own private collection, but I would appreciate some clarification on the status of these turtles BEFORE I purchase any and run into a problem...
My understanding is that you can own 2 meaning you can buy them OUT of state and bring them in. You can NOT buy any in Florida...
