My 8yr Old JCP Still Rockin with Color

TJG Nov 22, 2009 06:41 PM

This is my boy, almost 8yrs old! I bred his ma and paps, naturally, her sitting on the eggs and the male still in the enclosure, all eggs hatched, what a concept! I sold the pair (my biggest regret) and the next owner got a clutch, seperated and incubated, 1/3 of the clutch was lost. Let nature do what nature does! Included is a juvi photo of my boy. I'm constructing a new habitat, I will post some pics.

Thank you! This species of snake is such a joy to keep, they have quite a bit of individual personality.

great looking snakes. good to know you dont have to incubate everything. very true to let nature do what nature does. i think from what ive read that bob clark was very into letting his pythons incubate their own eggs. probably the way ill go whenever i start breeding

Thank you for the reponse! Please do try it naturally, it takes more work, but worth the reward! The same is true for everything in life...
