Can you tell an animals locality by its looks/features? I ahve a gtp that has a blue line across his whole spine. I was told that it is a biak because of that feature. I also have a gtp with lots white speckling and was told its most likely a sorong.Does any of that sound right?

If they don't have verified lineage to parents captured in those locations, I wouldn't call them 'locality' anything. They're just green tree pythons.

Even if you were to take a guess, your sources seem to be off. The animals that show blue on the dorsal are usually the sorongs and jayapuras. The white flecked animals are usually aru. But as said in the other post, without a known locallity, the are generic no matter what they look like.
