I've seen hatchlings with both dark heads and silver chrome heads right out of the eggs.
well for example i have a het for chrome male who started out with a silver head and it's slowely turtning black. i want to make sure that i can correctly id them before i sell them
Never heard of het for chrome before.
I've got Bloods and Borneo Short Tails.
I haven't noticed it much with the Borneos but the bloods heads all change color.
They go all the way from jet black to a shiny silver, just seems to be something these snakes do.
I've also noticed that Sumatran Short Tails heads also change color.
