We had this turtle, and unfortuntly he got in the garage and run over. 
We had him for 20 years. I would like to replace him before my daughter notices he is missing. Can anyone please tell me if he really is a box turtle and if he is, what kind is he. Here's a picture.

yes. that is a box turtle. three-toed box turtle is my guess. Terrapene carolina triunguis
