I dont have much hope for my little man.

He is behaving very strangely tonight, will be going to the vet in the morning, I can only guess it is neurological, but his behaviour is clumsy, erratic, he is carrying his forelegs lower than his hind, and with the papilloma virus and now this, I'm very sad for him.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before???

Fingers crossed for him.

So very sorry to hear about your little guy being sick, Kelly.

I had just been talking with another friend about these kinds of things, definitely sounds like a virus, I have been doing alot of reading about this and some symtoms seem like bacterial meningitis or Viral encephalitis , causes disorientation, clumsiness, seizures/convultions, slow moving, limbs stiff or not moving properly, ... other things such as star gazing type behaviors.

These virus's can be caused by many things Kelly , if it is indeed a virus, bacterial infections, injury, parasitic infections, toxins, some seem to evenually shake it off while others go down hill fast, mental dullness, central nervous system/ neurological problems, it is very sad, and extremely disturbing to watch.

Let us know how he does.

Well, the vet said to try the baytril before he considered anything else, because ear infections can seriously throw the balance off, and that was his primary suspicion due to the fact ke kept licking his left ear with his back foot. And now he's back to his usual idiot self
