"Rainbow" Mangroves?

wlcmmtt Jan 15, 2010 11:08 PM

Any idea what subspecies of Mangrove snakes looks like this? I saw it on LLL's website; yellow banded about 2/3 of the body, and then the last bit had blue, red, and green bands. I'm assuming it's just a subspecies I'm not familiar with, so I'm hoping someone here knows what it is.

Boiga D. Gemmicinta//they turn solid black upon maturity. One of the easier Mangroves to keep as well. Below is a pic of one at about 6 mos. old..colored bands turn white then gradually fade away completely.
