A little help from the "experts"...

benes10 Jan 17, 2010 12:52 PM

Purchasing my 1st GTP has been a little more frustrating than anticipated. I feel like I've read every piece of literature available on these beautiful snakes(including Greg Maxwell's book cover 2 cover). My conundrum is this: I'm specifically looking to buy a USCBB specimen. There are so many "breeders" on the internet to choose from (including this website). W/out naming these "breeders", I have contacted a few of them & they are unable to send me pics of the dam or sire... I'm assuming these are brokers for farm raised imports??? Where can a find a reputable breeder selling quality animals that have traceable lineage??? Looking more specifically for a neo or yearling Sorong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Kindly ---> Jack

Try Eugene Bassette in Archer ,Fl. You cant go wrong with Eugene. He's been breeding Green Trees longer than most have been in the hobby. I don't have contact info , try to google or another search. If I misspelled his last name sorry !!

Eugene hasn't bred chondros for a few years now. He says he can't compete with import prices. Email me for a list of great breeders that will probably have what you are looking for.

I have chondros from Garrick DeMeyer or Royal constrictor designs and Rico Walder of signal herp. They are both on this site.

I'm hoping to have some baby Sorongs hatch out soon. They were just laid, but if you don't find something that appeals to you then let me know. It all depends upon whether or not they hatch and whether or not they feed...
