That's what the female I talked about in previous posts just did. If anyone wants info, just ask. Don't want to write up a bunch of stuff if nobody is interested in reading it.

Sorry other post may have been too vague. She gave birth 156 days after her POS (post ovulation shed not piece o' sh##). I now have a couple CBB white candoia all to myself. In my opinion, there's nothing quite like having an animal that you know every detail about from day one.

This is the female my daughter first noticed follicles on. Would have to look at card, but I think we were able to palpate 9 follicles, 5 babies produced 3 "white" 2 tan, couple slugs. Breeding was going on in July/August ovulated in Aug. with a POS as well. No cycling was done as it was pretty much the middle of summer. Another female also started developing follicles, I put one male with her and they courted and possibly had some copulations, but she reabsorbed?? and never ovulated and is back to "normal". As you can see from the pic, mom is pretty small and I would've never thought to breed her had she not been producing follicles on her own. She's a bit darker in the pic than normal, as she's been a little darker since dropping her litter. Good luck with yours Jerry! I have a pretty big female, but not sure if I'll attempt to breed her this year or not. Sorry the pics aren't great, I am NO photographer if you couldn't tell, lol.

Thanks Jerry, and I can't believe it either! A lot smaller than what I'm used to working with.

Thanks, the female was this size when I bought her, so I can only go off what little info I had when purchased. I'd say 4-5 years old, but that's just a "somewhat educated" guess. I'd have to weigh her to be exact, but I'd say she's under 300 grams, and the males that would court her where anywhere from around 58 grams to 200 . On the flip side, I have some Solomons that are 3'-4' and definitely "huge" compared to some of these other animals. I only wish it were easier to narrow down where certain animals originated. Next hurdle...feeding! I'm hoping to have more luck and get some that are ready for pinkies right away. Thanks again for the reply, best of luck with any Candoia you're working with.
