Haha, live it up Steph! Big snow for you usually means ice for us. While you are frolicking, we are a'slippin and a'slidin all over the place.
I have some well conditioned Florida box turtles brumating outdoors here. This has been, by far, the coldest winter we have had in the 10 years I have lived in the Southeast. I keep checking on them, and they are doing well. It amazes me that turtles from a semi-tropical climate can handle such cold.
P.s. We drove through that snowfall in your State during the week before Christmas. It was the day after, and parts of 95 weren't even plowed! Can you please do something about that?
I don't think that VA allocates enough funds for snow removal on 95 because we don't usually get this kind of snowfall amount in just one storm.
I've got neighbors complaining right and left about local snow removal but I'm driving around just fine in a car that has no 4wd and just 4" between the oil pan and the road.
We are getting a winter storm here in the southwest every 3-4 days,....... and just passing them along to you Steph
Nice thing about hard winters is that they sure make for some enjoyable summers. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

LOL! I won't mind if it's more snow....the alternative is ice.
This one hit pretty much just the southern part of our state. It sounds like the East is gonna get slammed one more time.
