I noticed a light spot on my panters upper shoulder when he goes dark or fires up theres a light spot any ideas on what this is?

Has he ever shown signs of a thermal burn? Is the area discolored all the time? If not, it may just be an area that has a different combination of pigment cells. I've heard that some keepers notice pigmentation changes in areas that get overheated under a basking spot (like a tanning effect in the skin).

does that go aways the tanning affect? its there all the time its a circle kinda white in color. could his basking light be to close?

I don't know that much about it having not seen it myself. I heard about this on the Chameleon Forums. You could post your question there to see what those members say. If this spot always shows the same regardless of the cham's other color state, it might be an infection or fungal issue. If the spot only shows up sometimes it is some sort of skin pigment thing.
