Is that a normal fer-de-lance? If so be careful how much you feed it. While in Panama several years ago I caught a neonate. In 2 years it was 6 1/2 feet of very dangerous critter. That was by far the fastest growing snake I have ever owned. It not only got big but, she thought she was a whipsnake. I ended up giving it to Joe Teska at the Snake Farm in New Braunfels, TX. He kept it for several years and got it big enough to eat cottontail size rabbits with ease.

In panama is asper this is atrox,At one time they all were atrox.The asper get a bit bigger.

This little atrox has had 5 large fuzzys this week and wants more time to switch to hoppers in about a couple of more weeks.At this rate I forsee adult mice by may or sooner.

Had a rescue female go from four to nearly six feet in about 9 months. They grow very fast and become a true handful.... Amazing animals though.
