bull or gopher?

Really a bull or gopher is the same snake, just called different names in different parts of the country. Where did you catch/find him?

A bull is not the same as a gopher,they are in the same complex of species but still each has its own charicteristics .looks like a sayi

That they are. In New Mex/Tex they are called bullsnakes, Cal is gopher. Pituophis melanoleucus. Again depends are where you live.

It looks like a Sonoran Gopher, but bullsnakes and Sonoran Gophersnakes intergrade so it could be either or somewhere in between.
