My new retic wont stop pissing on me

Please help me I have a 3 or 4 month tiger retic my first 1 and every time I try to hold him he pees can you help me please

That is his way of trying to stop you from holding him and if you put him down he accomplished his mission. Put a piece of a worn, unwashed t-shirt in his cage so he gets used to your scent. Wear old clothes and with more acclimation and gentle, unrestrained handling he should stop doing that. Good luck-Bill

If you put the retic back in the cage after he pees on you, that's the message you are enforcing--that if he pees on you he gets left alone. However, if you continue handling as though nothing happened, or maybe even associate his peeing on you with something unpleasant (as you might do with dog training), he may decide to stop the habit.

You will win.

All the scenting advice is good, but also just give the snake some time. Retics are smart and this animal should eventually accept that you are not a threat.
